After three successful seasons, “The Taste of Bulgaria”, bTV's culinary adventure show, will continue to delight viewers in the spring. In the new episodes, charming host Maria Zhekova promises to satisfy the viewers’ thirst for culinary adventures, offering a fresh dose of entertainment to amateur chefs. With her genuine curiosity, she will take viewers to some especially enthralling and untouched regions of Bulgaria. All viewers will learn the wonderful stories of these incredible places and peek at the secrets that they hide. The host will introduce viewers to authentic tastes, old heirloom varieties, flavours, and recipes to discover “the taste of Bulgaria” together with them.

The culinary show will continue to present successful local producers who have chosen to pursue uncompromising quality. It will celebrate the courage of those who have chosen to preserve family traditions in cultivating Bulgarian products and keeping authentic recipes alive, despite the advancing modernisation. It will continue to challenge viewers “to preserve our treasure, Bulgaria” by healthy living, cooking, and maintaining our authentic culture in a bid to preserve our homeland’s nature.

This spring, Maria Zhekova will continue to unfold Bulgaria's culinary map, promising to take viewers on an expert tour of the vast world of cooking.

As of early 2024, the programme has begun implementing green practices and is due to be certified by albert, the organization that supports the environmental sustainability of the television and film industry in collaboration with BAFTA - the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
