Listening to the radio remains one of the main ways people consume music and news the world over, and in Europe radio reaches nearly 85% of EU’s citizens weekly. This is due to the fact that radio stations are increasingly investing in their teams, equipment, and content delivery methods in a bid to continue to engage, inform, and entertain their listeners. bTV Radio is part of this trend, offering a unique combination of precise news selection, entertainment, and meticulously chosen music.

For 12 years now, the radio has been providing its audiences with original shows “The Important Things Spoken Out Loud” and “About the City”, as well as exclusive TV content from bTV's air. The station's programme has a social element, clearly visible in the content of its original shows and supported campaigns. To celebrate its last birthday, the radio aired a series of noteworthy and unusual human stories from the documentary platform Oddly. In the new year, the radio will actively join the New Bulgarian Talent campaign together with the New Bulgarian University to support new talented musicians. The radio station and the educational institution will collaborate to support musicians by giving them an opportunity to present their musical views and bring them to life in professional audio and video recordings. The campaign will also include advice from audio and visual art experts from the radio’s group and from the university instructors.

bTV Radio's priority is to keep its listeners informed, offering them a chance to follow everything that is important in live format. That’s why in addition to its original shows and educational and social initiatives, the radio station also allows its audience to follow current affairs shows such as “This Morning”, “Before Noon”, “Face to Face”, “120 Minutes”, newscasts, sports news, weather forecasts, etc. – all on the go.
