This spring, the documentary series “No Luggage” will continue to take its inquisitive, adventurous viewers to numerous unfamiliar corners of our planet, introducing them to the cultures of faraway people from all over the world. Together with the team of one of the most watched European travel programmes, they will embark on a trip to the deserts and rainforests of Madagascar to see how people dig for gold and gems; they will chase some of the most charming forest inhabitants – the lemurs; and fly over the ocean to visit Nicaragua, a country that still cherishes some mystical customs such as the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos).

The only independent Bulgarian production purchased by the BBC will allow viewers to spend a day with a Buddhist monk in Sri Lanka and find out what is happening in his life after his big initiation – all from the comfort of their homes. The Amupakin women in Ecuador will show viewers how to make traps and catch animals for food and what plants they use as remedies. Exclusively for “No Luggage”, they will also reveal how they keep their natural black hair colour until old age and how they practice giving birth in a standing position.

“No Luggage” is an opportunity for advertisers to associate their brand with positive and intriguing educational content.
