bTV News is a legacy brand and a synonym of high-quality journalism. For 23 years now, it has been delivering all viewpoints on the hottest events in Bulgaria and globally on a daily basis.

In the spring of 2024, bTV's newsroom will continue to keep abreast of the most significant and interesting developments in the country, informing and empowering its viewers. The unbiased image, up-to-date information, and versatility form the foundation of bTV News – eight newscasts every weekday and two newscasts on Saturdays and Sundays. Amid the complicated geopolitical, economic, and social situation facing societies in Bulgaria and globally, the reliable, high-quality, and timely information delivered by bTV's editorial office has continued to justify the trust of its viewers for yet another year. Special studios, breaking newscasts, election marathons – these are just some of the attractive formats bTV News offers. The local elections in 2023 were covered by the television through more than 17 hours of live broadcast featuring special news reports and studios on October 29th and November 5th. This effort was appreciated by the audience as expressed through the rating results.

Politics, significant social and consumer topics, curious reporter stories, little-known problems, real-time coverage from the spot, and information about European and global processes are delivered in keeping with the highest journalistic standards. bTV News is always where the action takes place, not only covering, but also creating news presented by the most renowned, respected, and multi-awarded journalists in Bulgaria. The successful formula pioneered by bTV in the news industry – interview with a guest on a hot public topic in the end of the central newscast – continues in the spring of 2024.

In mоdern journalism, technology is an integral part of attractive and visually absorbing storytelling. Therefore, bTV News utilises augmented reality functionalities to secure a compelling experience for its viewers.

bTV News is not just a television product; the newsroom team of over 100 professionals works for the media's various channels to provide viewers with quick and reliable information. The news is wherever the users need it – on bTV radio, on the overhauled website btvnovinite.bg and its mobile app, on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Tik-Tok, as well as on YouTube, btvplus.bg video platforms, and bTV’s own Viber channel.

In addition to staying on top of the latest news, viewers can be a part of the content creation process via the “I, the Reporter” mobile app – a civil journalism platform that is the natural continuation of the familiar viewer signal segment.
